Family Photography At Historic Stewart Farm
It was a beautiful Fall day at Historic Stewart farm in Surrey BC. for the Christmas card Photography for Jennifer and her family. Little Jase was a trooper and full of smiles for the whole session and we finished just as the rain started to pour.
Actor Headshots
David casey is a local Vancouver Actor and came to me for some head shots. He has a great sense of humour and is a character. We had a blast during the shoot, was difficult holding the camera steady to shoot with all the laughing!
Rohan's 1st Birthday Pictures
A sunny day in late September! We were lucky to have sunshine, and hundreds of other people thought so as well at Bear Creek park in Surrey. Little Rohan did his best to maintain his composure throughout the many demands for his smile. What a great little guy.
A Frozen 4th Birthday Party
This is one very lucky little girl, and I’m a very lucky birthday party photographer. The themed party was a hit with all of her friends, and I was pretty happy about it too as it presented plenty of opportunities for great shots with all the dancing, singing and make up that was going on.
I am grateful for this long time client inviting me to share another of their life events and to capture it forever.
Photography in Whytecliff Park
As a portrait photographer you can never go wrong shooting in a park. Especially Whytecliff Park as there are plenty of trees, water views and a beach - so you can get many varied backgrounds.
For this shot though, no background was needed. Shayla and Jesse were so close I could feel their connection from ten feet away. We managed hundreds of great shots on the day, but this one is my favourite, it seems to say it all.
Cathy & Charlie's Home Farmyard Wedding
The rain didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits for this beautiful wedding held on their farm in Chemainus. The dark skies presented an opportunity (not problem lol) to light the ceremony in order to capture great images without light stands in the pictures.
Cathy and Charlie were so easy to work with that the images almost made themselves, and some great tenting kept the rain off as a very happy ceremony took them into wedlock. We all enjoyed a delicious snacks and BBQ dinner of local fresh salmon, and then danced the night away to a live band playing everyone’s favourites.
Cates Park on a summer afternoon
This is a family photograph, although the to dogs seem to blend in with their surroundings, and this was near then end of the shoot so they were pretty tired with the whole thing. It was a fun afternoon, playing in the water, walking along the beach, and relaxing in the shade. Another great venue for photography in Vancouver.
Ice Cream Solves All Problems
This wonderful family took advantage of attending a cousins wedding in Mexico to have a Family Portrait session, and I was happy to find something to do apart from lay around the pool all day Z(cough cough) when I wasn’t shooting the happy couple.
We were all staying at the 5 Star Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, and we made full use of the beautiful grounds, gardens and swimming pools as a location for the photography. One of my favourite captures is shown above when we were nearing the end of the shoot, the heat was getting to us all, and some ice cream served by the pool helped keep this little guy going for one more shot.
