A Professional Dance Portrait Experience Designed for Studios
Encore Dance Portraits specializes exclusively in professional studio portrait days for dance studios in Vancouver and the surrounding area. We work with dancers aged 6–17 to create timeless, confidence-building portraits that parents are proud to display and studios are proud to represent.
Our approach is calm, efficient, and intentionally designed to integrate seamlessly into regular studio schedules — without disruption, pressure, or on-site sales.
Deeply Connected to the Local Dance Community
Encore Dance Portraits is an established presence within Vancouver’s dance community.
Michael Callaghan is the official photographer for ONE Dance Experience, where dancers and families from studios across the region regularly encounter Encore’s work through live performance and competition coverage.
Through this role, Encore has photographed dancers across all styles, age groups, and experience levels — developing a reputation for consistent, expressive dance imagery that reflects confidence, strength, and stage presence.
Parents frequently share that Encore creates some of the strongest and most consistent dance images they’ve seen after attending multiple competitions and events throughout Vancouver.
Our Philosophy
Dance builds more than technique.
It builds confidence, discipline, resilience, and pride.
Encore Dance Portraits creates studio portraits that reflect who dancers are becoming, not just what they are wearing or performing in a single moment. These are portraits meant to last — as meaningful keepsakes for families and as a reflection of your studio’s values and culture.
What Makes Encore Different
Encore is not a school or hockey photo company and not a high-pressure sales operation.
